File
Menu

New is for opening a new file
like when you start a brand new webpage.
Important Tip: Always Save and name a New
webpage document before starting to work on
it... or you
will not be able to Save images correctly or
Preview
the page in a browser.
For more on
this please see the help sections on Saving and
Previewing
In a
Browser.
This is where you
Open web related files directly
into 123 WysiWyg HTML Editor from your hard drive. You can open pre-existing webpages to
edit - like website templates, etc.

Use Close
to close-out any current
webpage(s) you do not want to remain open.
To close-out the 123 WysiWyg program, use Exit.

Save and Save
As...
It's always best to 'Save As'
the first time you save any file, be it a webpage,
or an image, etc. This way you can
give the file a name by which it can be identified.
Tip: Always name your web files in lower
case and DO NOT leave any spaces in between groups of words. e.g. my
site.html (is incorrect) mysite.html (or) my-site.html,
my_site.html (is correct).
Use 'Save' after you have previously saved
a file by name using 'Save As'
.
This way you can easily update the
previously named file.

Preview In
Browser allows you to view your webpage as it will
appear online in your web browser. This is a very handy feature to
help you check the design of your webpages while creating
them. Below is another way Preview can be accessed
along with the other 2 work modes.
Note: Before you can view your webpage
in your browser, you must have the webpage saved. If the webpage is
not saved, 123 WysiWyg will open up a 'Save As' box
so you can name and save the page you want to preview. After being
saved once, it can be previewed at anytime.

Print is for printing out
a webpage.

Page Properties
opens a box with 3 tabs that control elements of a
given webpage.

Recent Files show you a
list of file names that represent the most recent opened files.
Click-on any of them to reopen them.
To
close-out the 123 WysiWyg program, use Exit.
