Tip #1: The big secret that no one
tells you about making website creation easy is to setup your
"websitename" folder on your computer before you start doing
anything else.
And add another folder inside of that "websitename"
folder called - images - and put the graphics and pics in that
folder that relate to your website
Then open 123 WysiWyg and save a blank file to your
website folder and call it - index.html
That will get you going, and have everything setup
correctly on your computer so all the pages in that website folder
know their relationship to one another, and it will work correctly
when you upload everything to your webhost server too.
Then start making your pages and linking them to
each other.
Tip #2: - here's a tip from one of
our WysiWyg users, Craig Sunney...
I came up with
another use for 123WW today. I realized that this is an easy
way to make something I tried to do years ago and gave up. I was
building an intranet for myself on my laptop.
You see. all my
documents were all over the place, and I just wanted an easy
interface to be able to access them quickly. The microsoft document
explorer just isn't easy for me to quickly find files. This is the
ticket I needed 3 years ago. Just create the interface. Link your
files to key words and you have your own personal main page with all
your most-used links. Hyperlinks to documents. Most used webpages.
Blogs. Photos....Make the main page up with links do individual
folders. One page per folder...and so on. Just like building a
website only it lives on your computer. Maybe call the folder... My
Mainpage
